Who is an Infopreneur?
An infopreneur is an entrepreneur who works with information.
An entrepreneur assumes the risks of starting and running a business venture.
An infopreneur reviews data, distills it into information, packages it into forms that others will want to buy – and then builds a business around selling this packaged information for profit.
In other words, infopreneurs create and sell information products and build massive wealth through developing a sustainable, profitable business around it.
What are infoproducts?
Traditionally, the things that pop into mind are books and their digital version, e-books. Many still believe infopreneurs are glorified ebook sellers!
But there are FIFTY-TWO distinct forms of information products – and they sell for as little as $5 to as high as $20,000 each!
Audio programs can be infoproducts. So can video recordings. And seminars. Or boot camps. Even personal coaching and mentoring.
An infopreneur does these core activities as part of his or her work:
* identifies a problem that people want to have solved for them
* looks into his or her own experience and expertise to find the solution
* creates an infoproduct based on this solution
* makes an attractive offer to the people who want it
* delivers value for a fair price and delights buyers
* sells more value to them over time – for ongoing profit
Sound easy?
It really is.
And this blog, and my book, “Think, Write and RETIRE!” along with the companion course, will show you step by step how you too can become an Internet infopreneur.
