National Review was first published on November 19, 1955 and is a biweekly magazine of political opinion, founded by author William F. Buckley, Jr. and based in New York City.
While the print version of the magazine is available online to subscribers, the web site’s free content is essentially a separate publication. Generally the magazine provides conservative views and analysis on the world’s current events.
The magazine’s current editor is Rich Lowry. Many of the magazine’s commentators are affiliated with think-tanks such as the Heritage Foundation and American Enterprise Institute.
